Chair of the Institute’s Board of Directors George Antoniadis signed a strategic partnership agreement with Konstantinos Kesentes, President of Athens International College, an institution of higher institute in Athens, Greece focusing on specialized and cutting edge Business education. Through this partnership, the Institute’s expertise in aviation will enhance AIC’s academic and professional development offerings providing opportunities for interested professionals. AIC has an existing and significant profile in international partnerships including with the University of London (UK).

Dr Flouris was a keynote presenter at the ICAO/EURNAT Regional Workshop on Aviation Training and Workforce Strategy held in Amsterdam on June 24-25, 2026. He spoke in the panel on Shaping the Future Digitalization and Innovation and Aviation Training and the Evolution of Job Profiles. His presentation focused on advanced air mobility education providing a multilevel perspective from STEM type programs for high school students to university level education. He shaped his presentation in the framework of US higher education regulation and specialized accreditation in aviation.
